We are A Hill Sport LTD (“the company”) trading as Altsport, Active Future Leicester and Active Future Leicestershire. Our website address is https//altsport.co.uk (“the website”).  We are licensed to use the names Active Future Leicester and Active Future Leicestershire by Active Future Holdings LTD (“the franchisor”). A Hill Sport LTD is not responsible for the views or opinions or actions of the franchisor, nor are A Hill Sport LTD responsible for the views or opinions or actions of any other franchisee nor is the franchisor responsible for any content published on the website.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comments form. We also retain the visitor’s IP address, browser information and the details of the person leaving the comment to help spam detection. We may use the Gravatar service, Jetpack or other means of data collection to detect spam and to identify users. You will be governed by these services’ privacy policies which can be viewed on their websites, if you are unable to find their privacy policies, please email the data processor of the website for more information. These services may share other personal information with us including but not limited to your email address , profile picture, address, name, age and location. After approval of your comment, your comment may be visible to the public along with your profile picture.

 

Media

If you upload images to the website or any third-party service which is featured on the website, you are responsible for removing any embedded data including EXIF or GPS data. Visitors to the website will be able to download and extract any data associated with the images on the website.

Any media uploaded to the website may be used on any of our social media platforms or used in marketing materials, likewise any media uploaded across our social media sites or used in marketing materials may also be used on the website.

If you have completed a consent form for A Hill Sports LTD to publish media featuring you or any persons under the age of 18 for whom you have parental responsibility/guardianship, these images may be shared on the website. The consent forms may be found on the website or any website operated by the franchisor or their partners. By agreeing to allow the use of media in such a way, no compensation will be due in the event of any data featuring you or any person under the age of 18. Any request to remove such data used for marketing purposes may be refused but each request will be considered on a case by case basis and you may have to pay a fee for media to be removed as such media will need to be replaced. This fee will be determined at the time of the request.

By consenting to the use of media on any of our sites, including but not limited to social media profiles, you accept full responsibility for the use of such media. For the avoidance of doubt, no liability is accepted for the improper use of media uploaded by visitors.

Cookies

When a you visit the website or any website associated with A Hill Sport LTD, including those operated by the franchisor, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you enter data into another form on the website including comments, registration of interest forms, consent forms, competitions and more. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Who we share your data with

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We will retain media that is used in marketing, published on this website or across social media indefinitely.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
