IF YOU OR ANY MEMBER OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAS COVID-19 SYMPTOMS THEN YOU MUST STAY HOME AND GET TESTED. YOU MUST NOT ATTEND OUR SESSIONS REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE STATES.
Keeping our participants, staff and their families safe is our first priority as an organisation and we take necessary steps to ensure their safety. This policy governs our Covid policy and should be observed by all participants and staff. This guidance differs significantly from the current government guidance and takes priority over any guidance provided by the government in relation to covid-19. For the avoidance of doubt, where there is a conflict between this policy and the guidance set out by the government, this policy takes priority. This policy is intended to protect you, our players and our staff and consequences of failing to adhere to this policy may result in removal and exclusion from any and all future sessions.
- If you or a family member have any symptoms of covid-19, you must not attend our session before taking a covid-19 test and receiving a negative result even if the symptoms clear up.
- Unless permitted under legislation or government guidance, you must continue to wear a face-covering unless exempt whilst spectating our sessions or whilst travelling to or from the venue indoors.
- Unless permitted under legislation or government guidance, a maximum of one adult per child is allowed to spectate and all spectators should maintain a distance of at least one meter between them and another spectator.
- All spectators and participants must adhere to venue rules relating to covid-19.
- Participants are requested to wash and sanitise their hands prior to attending the session to minimise the risk of contamination of equipment.
- Participants must bring their own drink and hand sanitiser and they must not share these with other participants, including siblings.
- All touch points will be cleaned and sanitised before and after each session, including all equipment that comes into contact with anyone except a single member of staff.
- No participant, spectator or staff member should spit on the floor, in bins or any other area at any time.
- Staff are to wear face coverings, unless exempt, when entering and leaving indoor venues and when unable to maintain social distancing.
- Staff are to wear a face covering and other PPE, unless exempt, when applying first aid.
Please regularly check the government guidance relating to coronavirus for the latest advice and guidance but be mindful that any guidance which conflicts with this policy will not apply. As a private organisation, we reserve the right to implement our own policies and procedures provided they do not conflict with statutory law.
