Active Future Leicester delivers sports and activity sessions to children and adults of all ages, needs and abilities throughout Leicester and Leicestershire. We deliver children’s sport and SEN sports sessions to all ages.
After success in the North, Active Future has launched across Leicestershire. Their first weekly Futsal session, scheduled for 6pm on the 20th August 2021 offers children aged 6-9 years old two free taster sessions with sessions for other age groups and other activities being developed.
Held at Leicester Sports Centre, 16 Commercial Square, LE2 7SR which has been newly fitted out in time for sports and leisure activities returning to normal after nearly two years of disruption due to Covid-19, Active Future Leicester aim to instil a love of movement and encourage life-long participation in sport and activity. Leicester Sports Centre features two bar areas, a viewing platform, vending machine, arcade games and free parking during Active Future Leicester’s sessions!
With specialist, qualified coaches at their helm, Active Future Leicester are inclusive of all regardless of skill, ability or needs with a focus on enjoyment rather than competition.

SEN Sports
Fostering an environment of inclusivity that allows players to grow into the game and have fun, Active Future Leicester are in talks with a range of organisations and specialist coaches to develop new activity and sport sessions so there is something for everyone! Active Future Leicester believes in offering sports and activity provision at an affordable cost with session fees from £6 per session.
Active Future Leicester isn’t just stopping at Futsal; we’re currently developing dodgeball sessions and sports sessions for children with special educational needs, including sports like boccia, handball and seated volleyball and taught by our experienced, qualified coaches. Active Future Leicester recognises the power of inclusivity in sport, fundamentally in terms of physical and mental wellbeing but also in a social context. Creating safe spaces for players of all ages and abilities, young and old to focus on the love of the game in a way that is backed by science, delivered by professionals and enjoyable to all regardless of the outcome of the sports we play means there really is something for everyone at Active Future Leicester.
