Community Sports Coach

Active Future Leicester are expanding and we are looking for superstar coaches to join our organisation.

Active Future is one of the largest activity providers in the UK. Not only do we provide our own activity provision but we also work with schools, local and county councils and charities to help them reach their aims.

Our activities range from running school PE Departments to delivering projects for the NHS, to working on reducing anti-social behaviour to delivering holiday camps, to solving social issues for charities to finding the next sporting superstar. Do you want to come and join our dedicated team to help us meet our aims?

Who are we looking for?

  • You will need to share our passion for getting and keeping people moving,
  • You must share in our long term aim to improve the lives of 1 million people per week,
  • You must be able to think on your feet and react to changing environments,
  • You must be reliable, honest and trustworthy,
  • You must have a sense of humour and smile a lot, and;
  • You must be a people person and enjoy interacting with others.

The Serious Bit:

  • You will need to have or obtain an enhanced DBS,
  • You will need to undertake a coaching qualification, safeguarding and first aid if not already achieved,
  • You will need your own transport and be available nights and possibly weekends, and;
  • You will want to constantly improve as a coach and improve the lives of others.

The Opportunity:

The role will be part-time initially and you will be self-employed. As the number of sessions grows, so will the number of hours you will be expected to work.

We will provide you with as many hours as you wish to commit to.

Part-time hours: 6 per week

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Contract

Salary: £10.00-£20.00 per hour

Schedule:

Mostly weekends, evenings, after school and school holidays.

NGB coaching qualification (preferred)
