Maintaining relationships with our partnered schools and other organisations will be a key responsibility and you will contribute to this goal by delivering excellent-standard sports and activity sessions to children, helping them to improve their skills in a fun and engaging way and demonstrating how valuable our organisation to the children we reach and to our partners.

We are recruiting community sports coaches who are suitable to work in schools and a range of challenging environments.

The person:

· will be passionate about coaching and possess a strong desire to improve the lives of those they meet.

· have experience working with children in a school environment.

· possess proven behaviour management skills and be able to maintain a calm nature.

· preferably hold relevant coaching and teaching qualifications and be willing to undertake CPD and further training.

· be reliable with the ability to manage their time effectively and be able to travel to several locations throughout the day.

· have access to their own transport and be able to take kit to their sessions including large ball bags, sports bibs, sports equipment and more.

The role of a Community Sports Coach:

· be able to plan sessions including a range of relevant, skill-based minigames and warm-ups.

· to write programs that suit the client and partner organisations and be able to deliver these to a high-quality.

· encourage children to maintain active, healthy lifestyles outside of sessions.

· produce accurate reports on progress, injuries, incidents and safeguarding.

Salary:

All of our coaches are paid a minimum of £15 per hour excluding bonuses. Our unique bonus scheme means you can expect to be paid retention fees for each non-mandated, paying participant who returns to your sessions as well as benefiting from potential profit share opportunities, travel reimbursement and paid training sessions.

This is a permanent position with varied hours and you must be willing to undertake an enhance DBS check and other pre-employment checks.
